Welcome Reception (4 Sept)
The Welcome Reception promises the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues from around the world.
Accompanying Persons are invited to attend this event as per their registration package. A light supper
and beverages will be served.
Gala Dinner (7 Sept)
Enjoy a taste of Africa at Moyo on the Spier Wine Estate outside of Cape Town. Guests will be transported
by coach to the restaurant for an evening of African food and vibrant entertainment from across the
continent. Your table might be in a tree house or a Bedouin tent, and you will be surrounded by
historic and contemporary African art, artefacts, design, and ritual. Accompanying Persons are
invited to attend this event as per their registration package. Dinner and beverages will be served.
Evening Excursions ( 5 and 6 Sept)
Evening excursions are planned to Cape Town museums or science centres. These excursions are included
in the Delegate and Accompanying Person registration packages. Transportation will be provided and light
refreshments will be served.
Accompanying Persons
A full Accompanying Persons programme, showcasing the splendour of Cape Town, is available for the
enjoyment of those travelling to Cape Town with 6SCWC delegates. Registered Accompanying Persons
are invited to attend the Welcome Reception, the Gala Dinner, the evening excursions and your
package also includes two daytime Cape Town City Sightseeing Tours.
