Day Tours
It’s not all work and no play! Exciting day tours in and around Cape Town have been planned by
the appointed Tour Operator, Andulela, for 6SCWC accompanying persons, or delegates who have a free moment
during the congress week.
Andulela, which means "first" in isiXhosa, have crafted a selection of hands-on tours which allow
participants to truly connect with South African people, customs and life. Andulela promotes responsible
tourism and participants can contribute to the conservation of the natural environment and the economic
growth of the local communities that they visit. The aim is to create and sustain an inter-cultural dialogue
that benefits all concerned.
Andulela will have a tour-desk at the 6SCWC for more information and bookings, but we do recommend
pre-booking your tours before the congress.
Please view the list and detailed descriptions of the available tours below.
